How long does a new gas connection take?
A typical residential connection completes in 4–8 weeks from acceptance of quote. Larger developments run in phases aligned to your build programme.
Who installs the meter itself?
Your chosen energy supplier fits the meter once we've completed the service pipe to the meter box. We coordinate the handover so it's seamless.
Do I need planning permission?
Generally no — service connections are permitted under utility legislation. We handle all street works notices and Gas Transporter approvals.
Can you work alongside my builder?
Yes. We integrate with main contractors and other utilities daily, with a single point of contact for your site team.
How much does a new connection cost?
It varies with distance from the mains, load and access. Most standard domestic connections fall between £900 and £2,500 all-in — send a postcode for a same-day estimate.
